Ministry Experience
Rev. Wendell Fisher, MA, MDiv, BCC, brings over 30 years of ministry and mental health experience. Before joining Lighthouse, Wendell served as the Minister to Single Adults at University Baptist Church in Coral Gables.

Leadership Roles
His career includes being Pastor of Wadsworth Ave. Baptist Church in NYC, Youth Director for Manhattan Bible Church and the “Youth Alive” program, and counselor roles in the South Bronx, working with at-risk individuals and homeless veterans.

Community Impact
In 2009, he was elected to the Miami-Dade Homeless Trust Board, where he served for five years. He now works as a Board-Certified Chaplain and Pastoral Care Regional Director for Baptist Health South Florida.

Family and Support
Wendell’s greatest joy is his family—his wife, Dora, and their sons, Daniel and Zachariah. Lighthouse Church is also supported by a dedicated Leadership Team of volunteers whose service strengthens the church’s ministry.

Fun Facts
A few fun facts about Wendell: He once was a NASCAR race driver and a taxi driver in New York City.
